This tent is based in Sonoma, California, and is available throughout North California ONLY for short or long term rentals, at additional cost.

We offer one spectacular, medium sized, authentic circus tent for rent. This magnificent structure is perfect for corporate events, weddings and theatrical shows where people want a real circus tent. It can seat up to 150 people on chairs or 80 in a formal seated dinner table configuration with a stage or dance floor. 

When you rent our tent we deliver it, and our team sets it up so that it is done just right. There are a number of technical requirements. Please read the following to ensure that your production and proposed site is suitable for this structure.

When you rent our circus tent we deliver the tent to your site and help facilitate setup and strike. The tent arrives in a 24’ truck. Our Tent Master and Tent Master’s Assistant will lead a local crew for the tent build and tear down. We can rent you just the tent on its own or provide you with various technical (lighting, audio etc.), scenic (circus decorations) and entertainment (circus acts) packages as required.




• This tent is made by the famous US tent manufacturer Armbruster Manufacturing Company. Springfield, Illinois.

• This tent is made out of Bright Blue/ Candy Apple Red Vinyl, sidewalls, rain cap and main element. This is a registered flame resistant product serial control number 20347. The fire certificates will be provided.

Tent Capacity

Tent capacities listed below are for the following standard seating arrangements. Please note that all seating must be supplied locally by the purchaser unless agreed on in advance and listed in the contract.


• Up to 150 seated comfortably on chairs with 24’ X 16’ stage space.

  • Elegantly seats 80 for gala sit down dinners with 24’ X 16’ stage space.
  • Custom seating arraignments are possible. Call to discuss.




• Footprint of tent inside guy lines (interior dimensions): 50 X 50 feet

• Exterior guy line perimeter dimensions (total space required): 75 X 75 feet

• Height of tent to peak of the masts: 28 feet

• Lowest point of tent ceiling inside the tent between the masts: 28 feet

• Sidewall height: 10 feet

  • There are 3 exits and each exit opening is 8 feet.
  • Recommended stage size is 24 X 16 feet maximum.

How much does the tent cost to rent?

•The price varies depending on the length of the rental.

How many people can fit in the tent?

•Our tent can seat up to 150 people on chairs, or 80 in a formal seated dinner table setting.

Is there a stage or dance floor in the tent?

•We have stage and dance floor options available but this will have an impact on seating capacity.

What is on the floor?

•For a normal setup the floor is the grass or ground below but we have floor covering options available.

What makes this tent different from a standard event tent?

•This is a real, authentic circus tent made on the French old Circus style.

How big is the tent? What is the footprint?

•This is a smaller “one pole” more intimate circus tent better suited to private and corporate events. The overall footprint is 50’ X 50’ inside the guy lines.

Do I need a permit to have this tent at my site? Is this part of the rental?

•Depending on your site and jurisdiction you may need a building permit in order to have this or any other large tent set up. On private property you probably won't, but if this is an urban, public space then you will. We have a package available with all the technical details to help facilitate this process. These permits are generally easy to obtain given some time. They are not too costly but this price is not included in the tent rental price.

My site is paved or concrete – can I still have the tent?

•This tent can be set up on asphalt or concrete IF permission is gained to drive our tent poles through the pavement. The best site is a field of grass.

How long does the tent take to set up and take down?

•Our experienced team can set up and strike the tent in one day.

What does the tent come with?

•The tent is available as is or with the various options listed here.

Do you have different tents or just the one?

•At the moment we have one circus tent and one “green room” tent 20’X20’, but we may obtain more as time goes by.

What if it rains – will my guests stay dry?

•The tent is completely waterproof.

What if it is cold/hot out – how can I keep my guests comfortable?

•We have heating and air conditioning options available.

What is it like inside?

•This tent creates a wonderfully theatrical atmosphere. The tent walls and roof top are black so that the focus is on the action inside. We have lighting, sound, truss, scenic and theatrical packages available to dress the space up how you like.

Can I see the tent before I rent it?

•Sometimes this may be possible if the tent is on a rental close to the time of your event and we can arrange permission. However, most of the time the tent lives in its own special trailer waiting for people like you to rent it, and is not available for viewing.

What is involved in getting the tent for my event?

•First we do a site survey, either in person or via phone and photos, to determine if your site is suitable. When you book the tent for your event we require a 50% deposit. We deliver the tent via truck in its own special box. Our experienced team will set up the tent and then tear down when your event is over.

Do I need insurance?

•Event insurance is required to cover the tent and your occupants from after set up until we strike the tent.

-All prices listed here include our team leading the set up and strike of the tent.

-Security will be required for the tent for the duration that it is set up on your site.

-Once setup the tent will be ‘handed over’ to the purchaser. At that time and for the duration of the event the tent and all events taking place inside will be the sole responsibility of the purchaser. Appropriate security, insurance and liability coverage for patrons and for the tent itself will be the responsibility of the purchaser for this period.

-Rental prices include ONE tent master and ONE assistant tent master for setup and strike. 6 local laborers will be required in addition to our two traveling tent masters and the cost of this is the responsibility of the purchaser.

-Rental prices do not include travel and accommodations for the two tent masters. This tent is based in Sonoma, CA and all setups outside of a 3-hour radius from home will require travel and accommodation fees over and above the prices listed above.

-This tent takes ONE full day to set up and ONE full day to strike. There is no charge for these days.

-If the ground is hard a Bobcat with hydraulic jackhammer attachment will be required for driving the tent poles. If the tent is on pavement permission will be required to place tent poles.

-The tent cannot be packed wet so there is always the possibility of a delay striking the tent if it is rainy or wet so please schedule accordingly.
